We are seeking a self-motivated and energetic individual to represent SMEG, a global leader in small, iconic appliances.  As a Weekend Demo Specialist, you’ll be the face of the SMEG brand in-store — brewing fresh coffee, demonstrating the ease and elegance of SMEG machines, and inviting shoppers to enjoy a complimentary cup. Through hands-on demos and friendly interactions, you’ll showcase SMEG’s stylish, high-performance appliances to spark interest, create memorable experiences, and drive sales.  👉 Bonus: At the end of the program, you will have the opportunity to own the SMEG machine you’ve been demonstrating for a small cost.

Minimum Pay

USD $20.00/Hr.

Maximum Pay

USD $22.00/Hr.

What You'll Do

  • Prepare fresh coffee while demonstrating how effortlessly the SMEG machine works—then treat customers to a complimentary cup to enjoy the experience
  • Build credibility and strengthen brand loyalty with customers and retail associates
  • Maintain display compliance and ensure product functionality
  • Collect and report industry intelligence and competitive insights
  • Communicate promptly with your supervisor and complete assigned reporting
  • Perform other program-related tasks as assigned

What You'll Bring

Experience and Education:  

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of Retail, Marketing, or Field Agency experience preferred.

Skills and Attributes: 

 

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Customer-focused with genuine enthusiasm for the SMEG brand
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Comfortable with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Must be ServSafe certified or willing to obtain certification, paid by BDS

  • Regularly stand, walk, bend over, reach overhead, crouch, kneel, balance, grasp, push or pull, talk and/or hear 
  • Always lift and carry items up to 10 pounds into the store 
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 20 pounds 
  • Continuous hand/eye coordination and fine manipulation

The pay range for this position is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market data. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process and may vary based on individual qualifications and business needs. All compensation will comply with applicable federal, state, and local minimum wage laws and regulations.
