In this role, you’ll help create an unforgettable experience for guests through activities like greeting and directing attendees, recording guest information, crowd control, and handing out giveaways.

You will be working at the Columbus Convention Center from 7:30am-12:45pm on Wednesday, October 8th. Paid training and light set-up and staging of the event space will take place in the first hour of your shift. You will also be required to attend a 1-hour paid training call prior to the event; date and time TBD.

• Provide best-in-class experience for event attendees through greeting and direct guests, managing lines, distributing promotional items and giveaways, and answering questions
• Utilize a provided iPad to complete guest registration and assist with troubleshooting as needed
• Assist in light set-up, staging, and maintaining the cleanliness of the event space before and during the event
• Other duties as assigned by management & client

Experience and Education:

• High School Degree or equivalent required
• Proven experience in customer service and/or event work

Skills and Attributes:

• Access to a smartphone (iPhone or Android)
• Strong interpersonal communication – written & verbal
• Engaging personality; comfortable consistently initiating and maintaining conversations with a diverse audience
• Organizational and problem-solving skills
• Able to show patience when communicating with team members, the client, and event attendees

The pay range for this position is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market data. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process and may vary based on individual qualifications and business needs. All compensation will comply with applicable federal, state, and local minimum wage laws and regulations.
