At a Glance

As a Meta Events Field Operations Manager,  you are focused on the successful execution of industry-leading events with a heavy focus on interviewing and scheduling Demo Specialists.  In close collaboration with our client, you will manage projects with a team that provides best-in-class experiences to event attendees through immersive, hands-on demos of our client's products at tradeshows, campus events, and product launch announcements.  You ensure each event is staffed with highly trained personnel who bring our client’s innovations to life for attendees.

 

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Strategic staffing coordination based on event-specific needs
  • Clear and timely communication with event staff
  • Payroll and expense oversight
  • Compliance reporting
  • Cross-functional collaboration with client partners and internal BDS teams

This is a full-time, dedicated role with standard business hours M-F; additional flexibility is required for managing events taking place evenings and weekends. Up to 10% travel is required in this role to travel to events.

Minimum Pay

USD $65,000.00/Yr.

Maximum Pay

USD $70,000.00/Yr.

What You'll Do

  • Secure staffing for events
  • Consistently communicate with your team to effectively onboard, train, schedule, and coach
  • Assist team with project management of each event request/task from our client
  • Work closely with the National Operations Managers to determine staffing needs by event 
  • Manage team payroll and expense claims
  • Own event trackers and reporting compliance
  • Other tasks as assigned by management 

What You'll Bring

Experience and Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of retail sales, retail marketing, and/or brand advocacy experience required.  
  • Demonstrated strength and experience in staffing and staff management: interviewing, scheduling, and teaching/coaching techniques; positively influencing and empowering others

Skills and Attributes:

 

  • Familiar with Google Docs and Microsoft Office
  • Robust interpersonal communication, soft skills, written, verbal, and on-camera 
  • Ability to build and foster business relationships at multiple levels
  • Ability to show patience and tact and remain calm under pressure 
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation with a continued drive to learn 
  • Strong time management and organizational skills 
  • Ability to practice good judgment in analyzing information, strategic/critical thinking, and decision making 
  • Ability to work weekends, as needed

  • Continuous hand/eye coordination and fine manipulation

The pay range for this position is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market data. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process and may vary based on individual qualifications and business needs. All compensation will comply with applicable federal, state, and local minimum wage laws and regulations.
