At a Glance

As an LG Media Solutions (MS) Product Trainer, you will equip new and existing employees, the client, and its customers with the requisite knowledge, skills, techniques, and motivation to perform at the highest level. In this role, you are a teacher who leads groups virtually and in person, develops training materials for both internal teams and the client, and collaborates closely with business leaders to assess the training needs of the program.

 

Our ideal candidate is passionate about home electronics and sharing their insights with others. This dynamic role requires excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a passion for continuous learning with dynamic and engaging presentation skills.  

 

This position requires 25% travel throughout the U.S and requires you to reside within 50 miles of a major metropolitan airport.

Minimum Pay

USD $85,000.00/Yr.

Maximum Pay

USD $100,000.00/Yr.

Additional Compensation

Up to 5% annual bonus paid out quartlerly

Overview

  • Conduct instructor-led and virtual training, including product training, leadership and professional development classes, new employee orientation, train-the-trainer sessions
  • Identify, design, and customize training activities to incorporate into training content for the specific class and learner needs
  • Leverage multi-media solutions to enhance learning experiences
  • Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to perform needs analysis and identify skill and knowledge gaps
  • Perform administrative tasks such as planning the training calendar, scheduling training events, and sending training feedback surveys
  • Communicate frequently and effectively with leadership and various project stakeholders to ensure timeliness and quality of deliverables
  • Increase product knowledge and establish consistent LG brand messaging that drives increased “sell-through” of LG products in retail accounts
  • Required 25% travel

What You'll Bring

Experience and Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or 5+ years of relevant experience required  
  • Instructional design experience and/or certification preferred  
  • Minimum 2 years in a related industry such as home entertainment or consumer electronics  
  • Minimum of 2 years proven training experience in a classroom or related environment 
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a major plus! 

Skills and Attributes: 

  • Strong presentation skills with dynamic delivery; comfortable presenting in front of large groups  
  • Comfortable being on camera with a home office environment that is conducive to delivering virtual trainings  
  • Excellent written and verbal skills with a passion for communication  
  • Ability to demonstrate a high level of technical understanding for consumer electronics  
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)  
  • Proactive, innovative, and flexible attitude  
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with diverse audiences 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Adaptable training style and cultural sensitivity to cater to global audiences, diverse learning preferences, and differing levels of expertise 
  • Knowledgeable in interactive training, assessments, evaluation, and adult learning principles   
  • Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook). Video editing and document creation software, and Adobe Creative Cloud

The pay range for this position is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market data. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process and may vary based on individual qualifications and business needs. All compensation will comply with applicable federal, state, and local minimum wage laws and regulations.
