This position requires you to reside in/near the Twin Cities.

Overview

Strategy & Planning:   

  • Lead, develop, identify and secure new retail partnerships to expand market reach and drive revenue growth
  • Develop long-term partnership strategies aligned with company goals, product roadmap, and customer needs to enhance retailer partnerships

Growth & New Business Development:

  • Identify,cultivate and execute against an individual business developmentplan to meet revenue and profitabilitytargets as part of the larger organizational growth plan
  • Manage and identify new business opportunities (including RFIs and RFPs) by leveraging organization’s resources and service sets and positioning the organization to win identified opportunities with key retail partners 

Operations:   

  • Relationship owner for key Leadership retail partners; manages and leads efforts for high overall client satisfaction across all Business Units
  • Develop KPIs and improve processes that manage and monitor progress towards desired outcomes

Financial Management:  

  • Manages the achievement of retail operations goals and the business development needed to attain, and/or exceed, the growth expectations
  • Responsible for the Business Unit P&L, continuation and growth of current projects, and introduction of all services across retailer partnerships

Administrative:

  • Provides monthly executive updates to business leaders on retailer partnerships and strategic initiatives
  • Other responsibilities as requested by management

What You'll Bring

Experience and Education: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or high school diploma with equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years in account management and client relations, functioning in a leadership role
  • Minimum 8 years of retail experience
  • Experience in account development and account strategy; preferably within the manufacturing, retail and/or agency industry
  • Experience in program lifecycle from creating strategy to the point of tactical execution

  • Ability to work independently and accepting of ambiguity

  • Well organized; capable of managing a large number of activities in parallel
  • Advanced computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.  
  • Ability to travel as requested

  • Occasionally travel via flight or other modes of transportation

  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time
